Product Description

Titles may be searched for in a variety of ways. The most common way to search is by Land Description or Owner Name.

  • Land Descriptions indicate where a parcel is located. Each indicator is listed in a prescribed order. For rural parcels, a Land Description includes the Quarter Section, Section, Township, Range and finally a geographic coordinate indicating where the parcel lies in relation to the nearest Meridian. For urban parcels, a Land Description lists the Lot, Block and Plan.
  • Owner Name can be searched by Family Name or Firm Name. Do not worry if you do not know the exact spelling - we have an 'Include Names That Are Similar in Spelling' feature to help find the owner you are looking for.

When it comes to real estate, being informed on the ins and outs of land is essential. Prior to any investment, make sure to do a comprehensive Saskatchewan Land Title Search to know the pertinent information regarding land ownership along with any liens, charges or disputes that have been registered against the property.  Whether you are buying a home, rezoning, acquiring a building permit or for business professional purposes, a Land Title Search is often a basic requirement, but will also indicate any concerns that may affect the value or use of a specific property.

Information regarding land ownership can be acquired as registration is done through the Land Title Office (LTO) and a 'title' is registered to the owner.

Land titles include the current owner's names along with any and all outstanding interests on the land.  See our Title Search page for more information.

If you don't have the property's legal description, you can also Search by Civic Address.

Search results are delivered via email within 45 minutes of your order during regular business hours.
